Dear Deepak,

I just wanted to share some of the wonderful feedback I've been getting about our rerouted Bhutan/Sikkim tour. I also got a call from Kathleen Obermaier yesterday. She too had only good things to say. Really the credit belongs to you. Thank you both for your hard work to make this happen.

Best wishes, Effie

Dear Effie,

Before time gets away I'd like to thank you for the fantastic job that you did in pulling together our alternative itinerary into Bhutan!! I believe we had a far more inspiring experience than if we'd gone into Tibet. The latter would have been a sad experience, whereas Bhutan was it's opposite; in that the people are free to practice their beliefs & it is a truly happy life they lead. Chimi our guide was divine!! We decided he was a cross between Yul Brynner (The King & I) & The Bhutanese version of Zorba the Greek!! His telling of Folk History was riveting. We were also blessed with the best bunch of people you could hope for & I truly cannot remember laughing so much in a long long time!! Everyone was also very caring & looked out for each other on the odd occassion when we were sick.

Thank you so much, Warm Regards,

Rhonda Schiffler

Deepak and all

We would like to thank you for making our trip to Bhutan possible and taking care of us from the beginning to the very end. It was a very nice experience to glance around the wonderful things your cities have, and we truly enjoyed every moment we found in Bhutan during our stay. Thank you again for your assistance and hospitalities. Please also extend our hellos and thanks to everyone we met as well.

Dear Deepak,

We returned to the UK on Fri. 8th after a good relaxing time in Darjeeling. Jane & I decided to slow down instead of trying to get to Kalimpong & Gangtok, so we spent 3 nights in Dar., being thoroughly lazy. The Toy Train trip down (the "Up" train was full, ) was pleasant too, lots of things to see of interest, eg the loops & reversals. Siliguri we didn't like, but got out to Bagdogra OK, flew to N. Delhi , (thanks again for organising that,) then on with Lufthansa via Frankfurt to London. I trust Nima's next trek is successful, & that those walking, enjoy it as much as I did our Druk Path.I found it sufficiently difficult to be a challenge, but not too hard or tiring. I feel I have achieved something. Deepak, thank you again for all your patience, & hard work in the preparation, then your time spent when we were there, just making sure all went well for us.As yet, I have to finish unpacking & get more sleep as well as prepare for school, mow the lawns & everything else that piles up when you're away. But I do have great memories.

Best wishes,

Colleen, London
